MONDAY EVENING at 8.15pm: HIGHWAY CODE OF THE SIDDUR
This course encompasses comprehensive knowledge of the Siddur in an interactive manner. Rabbi Levy delves into the deeper meaning of our prayers, as derived from our ancien, mystical and modern commentators. By attending this course, participants will be able to follow the Shabbat Morning Service with complete confidence, and will be totally familiar with the layout of the Siddur. A crash course on Hebrew reading is also available on request on a one to one basis.
WEDNESDAY EVENING at 8.30pm : CONTEMPORARY HALACHIC QUESTIONS
Study with Rabbi Levy the questions arising out of the conditions of modern living. This course is based on the popular work ‘She’arim Metsuyanim Bahalochoh’ which draws on hunderds of sources.
SHABBAT AFTERNOON after MINCHAH: TALMUD PESACHIM
Follow the step by step argument of the gemarah with Rabbi Levy and learn from the text how we arrive at the halachah as performed on Pesach and other occasions in our lives. This shiur is given with Rashi and Tosaphot plus interpretations from the later commentaries.
SHABBAT MORNING: ASK THE RABBI
Rabbi Levy is happy to answer questions submitted by congregants which he will answer from the pulpit on Shabbat mornings.
